Almost Friday!!!

One more day to go! I am sooo ready for the weekend! I have decided that my next week resolution is to get everything ready the night before. I am a procrastinator (did I spell that right??) and it makes my mornings a stressfull mess! First of all, I cannot leave a mess in my kitchen, if there are dishes from the night before that got put in the sink, I have to clean it. It will drive me crazy to know I have to come home to a dirty house so I usually get caught up in cleaning and forget to get everything else done. Thank God for mom!! She comes over at 6:30am and gets Caitlyn's lunch ready for her and gets breakfast fixed for them! On a normal day, I get home at around 6:40 and have to do homework with Caitlyn and get supper fixed (usually Dale tries to have this done) then clean the kitchen, bathe the kids and blog before bed...it is normally around 11pm before I can even think about bed. I wake up at 6am and take a shower then get myself dressed...then I make the biggest mistake EVER...I go to the kitchen! Once I set foot in the kitchen, my brain is in clean and cook mode! I forget to get the kids up and dressed...luckily mom shows up and says..."are you going to wake up Caitlyn and Jack." I guess I just forget what time it is! Once I do wake them up, all I do is stress them out saying "we are running late we are running late hurry hurry hurry." Poor kids, they are probably going to have ulcers any day now!!! So, that is why I love the weekends...I can relax and enjoy my life for a couple of days! I have promised myself to be a better mommy and planner next week (we'll see how it goes)! The kids are doing great! Jack and Caitlyn are watching a TV show in her bed (I am sure they will be outgrowing that any day now). Hayden is sound asleep (for the record...I got to spend a total of 2 hours with him today) :(
I cannot believe that he will be one in 2 more weeks! He is so sweet, it is amazing to Dale and I every day how much he learns and grows. We absolutely have the greatest kids! Not that we are perfect parents by any means, but we are learning every day! Dale and I love each other and our kids know that...I really think that makes them better kids! Anyway, obviously I am getting off subject...YEAH tomorrow is Friday! I will add more later...

Baby, It's Cold Outside!!

Well, Caitlyn did not get to go to the dentist today due to the weather. They both went to school this morning hoping that the school would close early (it didn't though)! I spent my day cleaning the house and doing laundry. I went to WalMart this morning and picked up a few things that we would need even if we don't get iced in!! Hayden was wonderful today...he is getting so good at putting himself to sleep for his naps. I was rocking him, but he would fight it so hard that I finally gave up and started putting him in the crib with a few ounces of warm milk, it works like a charm and he is old enough now that I am not so worried about ear infections with him laying down with a bottle. I ordered him the cutest things to go on his bottles (and sippy cups). They are little rubber bands with his name on them. They fit around the bottle and really serve no purpose except that they have his name on it and they are adorable! I saw them on the bottle of one of my patients last week and saw them again on John and Kate plus 8 and I knew that my Hayden REALLY needed them! It is nearly 10pm and all three kids are asleep, what a pleasant surprise! I am going to go to bed a little early tonight (it is sad that 9:50 is considered "early")! Love you all...

Monopoly

Nothing very remarkable at work today! It is monday, we were busy, it is COLD outside! Dale and I ate lunch together at Larry's today. We really enjoy getting to have a nice meal together every now and then! I didn't leave work tonight until almost 6:30 and then I had to go get gas. Dale wanted me to go pick up the Monopoly game for the Wii machine. The roads were starting to get slick, but I made it to Game Stop before they closed to buy it.

We made it about a quarter through a game and Jack had lost interest. Caitlyn really likes it, she is good at that kind of stuff. Dale and I try to make being at home fun, so that when they get older, they may actually like to be around us (probably won't work, but it is worth a shot)! We are supposed to get a lot of ice tonight and so I am not sure if Caitlyn will be able to go to her dental appt in the morning, but if she does go, I will let you know how she did!

"I Don't Want Any More Toys"

What a sad thing for us to hear! Our baby girl is growing up! We have spent all weekend getting the boys' room done and I decided to get rid of some of Caitlyn's toys that she no longer plays with. Her room is the smallest in the house and it does not take much for the toys to become out of control! I was asking her what toys she didn't play with anymore (including some she just got for Christmas). She said that she did not want any more toys. She would rather have music CD's, make-up (only to wear at home) and dresses. What a big girl she is becoming. It was sad for about a minute, then I wiped her out! She said that all of her barbies (probably 30 or more) could go to Hannah Cantrell, all of her Polly Pockets could go to Hannah Work and her My Little Ponies could go to Haileigh Work. It was so nice that she had a plan for all of her toys. Now her room is pretty much empty. She has about 10 coloring books and all of her Littliest Petshop toys that will keep her busy for now.

We finally got the boys room finished. I need to know what you think so leave me a comment. We looked at WalMart today for material to make them some curtains, but they really didnt have anything. I kind of like the windows being bare, but Hayden cannot sleep in there during the day if it is too bright. I'm sure we will find something that will work. We are starting to get the house back in order finally! I went and bought some big totes to put all of the clothes that they have outgrow in. I am thinking that we are going to be having a BIG yardsale in the spring. NO Shannon, I did not box up anything that Hannah could wear. I am sending them to you as soon as I can!!!! It was sad looking at everything that Hayden has outgrown, but it sure does not make me want another one! Love you all and I will talk to you later...

Off To The Races!!!

What an exciting day! Dale and I went to the horse races, it was our first time to go and we were a little overwhelmed! We learned a lot and won a little! We had so much fun spending time with our friends and enjoying the scenery! I tried a corn beef sandwich and was not really sold on it! The kids both had good days at school! Caitlyn got to read her school's mission statement in front of the entire school this morning! She is such a big girl now! Dale and I stayed to watch her...you could tell she was nervous! We are so proud of her!
Our plans for this weekend is to finally be finished with the boys room. I can't wait to post the pictures! That's all for now...I will write more later.

Getting ready for the weekend!

Today was busy, but fun! I had a meeting at lunch to discuss EMD's at the clinic...that was kind of boring, but I guess I needed to be there! I picked up Wendy's for supper, I was running late getting off from work and I didnt have time to cook a big supper before Grey's came on. I went to Old Navy and picked up a shirt to wear to the races tomorrow. Dale thought that was silly because I didnt really have to dress up, but I can always find a good reason to shop!!
I scheduled Caitlyn to go to the dentist on Tuesday to get a filling (NO she does not have a cavity), she has a problem with the way one of her teeth developed and the only way to fix it is to do a filling. Jack got sent home from school today because he was being naughty (we already addressed the problem and he promises to do better tomorrow). God love his teacher! Bless her heart, I'll bet she will be dancing around the room when he starts kindergarten!!! That's all for now...

Orthodontist Appointment

Today, Caitlyn had to see Dr.Daniel. He is an Orthodontist that Dr.Mazurek (Caitlyn's dentist) recommended that we see. Her teeth are cram packed in her mouth and we need to get an early start on getting them straight. Luckily for her she is missing two adult teeth on the bottom. He did an x-ray and decided that for now, we will plan on pulling two baby teeth on the top and two on the bottom. Hopefully, that will allow her mouth to have some extra room to fit all of those teeth in! I was so happy to hear that we may be able to skip braces! Poor Caitlyn, she started crying when he said that she would have to get some teeth pulled. She said "Mom, in my head, I just see you and Dr.Mazurek pulling out my teeth and blood going everywhere with me screaming in pain!!" It was hilarious!! She is such a mess! Jack is doing great too, he is in love with MarioKart on the DS. I wasn't sure that he would be able to play it, but he is really good at it and it allows him to use some of his energy on something besides bouncing off the walls! Hayden is also doing well, he is soooo funny! It is so much fun watching him grow and learn! We are so blessed!!! Oh, I almost forgot, Bella is also doing well! She is laying on Caitlyn's backpack sound asleep!

Nothing Accomplished!

We did not paint a thing tonight!! I actually got off from work earlier than usual. I came home and immediately started supper . We ate while we watched American Idol. I realized we were out of milk at 9pm, so I had to run to Walgreens. I would have gone to WalMart, but that usually costs me more because I seem to find extra stuff we "need!" Besides, all the crazy people are at WalMart this time of night! I bought the kids' valentines while I was there. They had the coolest Hannah Montana valentines for Caitlyn and some Sponge Bob ones for Jack...PLUS, they were on sale which totally makes it worth it!! Dale didnt really see it that way though!!!! I am off to bed...GOODNIGHT!!

Green Green and MORE Green

Well, what do ya think? It really looks good now that Dale has painted the window trim white. It looks so fun in there now! I am SO happy that we did it! We are contemplating the idea of putting farm animals on the wall. Dale is a great artist and with my supervision (ha ha), I am sure it will look great! It looks cluttered now, but when it gets all put together, I will post the pics!

We're finally done!!!

Well, it took 20 hours to complete, but we finally got the living room done!! I posted the pictures below. Dale's mom watched all three kids until about 8pm last night. We were not done with all of the painting, but we cleaned everything up and headed to Haskell to pick up Hayden (he is not allowed to sleep over yet!) We got home around 9:30 and Hayden went straight to bed. This morning Dale's mom called and said that Jack was throwing up and wanted to come home. I went to get him at noon and he fell right asleep on the couch. Mom watched Hayden for a couple of hours this afternoon so we could finish. The living room looks GREAT! I have decided that the boys' room will have to wait until next weekend. It is so hard to paint with all three kids in the house! Thank God for family that is willing to help out! My poor sister got nominated to go up in the attic and seal off our air conditioning ducts. We were heating and cooling the attic due to the ducts falling apart. She put on some of Dale's clothes (what a site!!!) and went in the attic with a box cutter and some insulation tape and fixed our problem. She was covered in insulation, but she never complained! We have such a great family!!!

Wonderful Day Off !!!

Today was so nice! I went to Walmart to finish the grocery shopping (not so fun)! After that, I had to go pay the car payments...not fun either! I went with mom to get her hair cut, I was just there for moral support! I don't know why, but I love to watch people get their hair cut! I came home and started laundry. Hayden was in a pretty good mood today so he was actually letting me get some stuff done! Usually, he is climbing up my leg the second I put him down! Dale's mom came over and brought the kids some summer clothes that she bought at Old Navy. That was such a surprise!! I can use all the help I can get with three kids...I almost dread the seasons changing because that means three new wardrobes I have to buy!!
Tomorrow, Dale and I are planning on taking the kids to his mom's house and painting our living room and the boys' room. I picked out a "kermit the frog" green for their room (I am a little nervous about it, but I think it will be so cool when we actually get it done) and I picked out a grey/blue color for the living room...I will post some pics when I get it done! Painting always seems easy to me until I actually start taping it all off, then I start to get overwhelmed! I welcome anyone who wants to come over and help me!!! (hint hint)

Okay, I made it home! I went to Kroger to buy groceries in case it freezes and we cant leave the house for a month!!! Not really, but there were several people there that looked like that is what they are planning for! When I left Kroger, I had to go to Little Caesars and get some pizza and then go home. We are watching CSI right now...it's a re-run then we are gonna watch Grey's. I am torn though, tonight is Grissom's last night on CSI, maybe we will DVR them both! I am SOOO happy about my 4 day weekend! I can get so much housework done when the big kids are at school. My day was busy, but we managed! Dale seemed to have a good day, he is lost in TV land right now! Caitlyn is playing MarioKart on the DS, Jack is pecking on my shoulder asking me if he can play a computer game and Hayden is playing with a sock! What a great life, huh! I am SERIOUSLY thinking about sneeking to the bathroom and taking a HOT bath...wonder if anyone would notice!!! You should see Jack, he is standing in the middle of the floor pretending to Karate on someone! It is so fun to watch him use his imagination!

Yeah, a 4 day weekend!!!

Today was busy, but we made it! I went and bought Hayden some new clothes at lunch (DONT TELL DALE!!!!) They have the cutest summer clothes at WalMart and I just couldn't help myself! It is AMAZING how big he is!! I love to see the kids in summer clothes, they are so much cuter than winter stuff!
I had to stand in the BITTER cold today and buy gas...it was FREEZING cold! Luckily, Shannon let me use her jacket! I forgot my coat at work...big mistake!

Nothing Exciting!

Well, I am not at home yet, but Dr.Stanford just went in with his last patient so hopefully it won't be much longer!!!! I am so excited to watch Americal Idol and Criminal Minds tonight. It is pretty sad how much our lives revolve around TV. Especially Dale since he got his new 50 inch plasma screen TV! I plan on going home and eating dinner (fast) then getting some kids ready for bed! If anything exciting happens, I will try to blog it before bed!

What a crappy week so far!

We have had a stomach virus going around our house this week. Jackson and Hayden have been running fever and having stomach issues. I have not been getting any sleep and I seem to be washing bed sheets on a daily basis now! I'M TIRED!!!
Our lives are blessed though, we have three beautiful children and a great life! I am always so thankful for what we have!
It is "winter" at the clinic and we are working our butts off. I usually do not get home in the evenings until around 6:40 and then I have to start my second job (being a mommy). Luckily Dale gets supper fixed and the kids bathed before I get home! I feel like the only time I even see them anymore is in the mornings when I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off and then in the evenings when I am trying to get them fed and cleaning up! It will get better though, I just know it! I do love my job though, I am really not sure exactly why though!
