Garden Pics

My Off Day!!!

Yeah!!! I am off today! I am SOOOO bored. Mom left this morning and went to Stamps (she didn't even tell me, she just left). My house is clean, Hayden is napping and there is NOTHING on TV....
Katie,
Hayden's head is fine. I couldn't ever get him to sit still long enough to get a good picture. The glue is still on his poor little head, I dont see any signs of it coming off anytime soon. That is some good glue I guess! We had a lot of fun doing the flower bed at Betty's! I told her that she needed to tell Ralph that he can put whatever he wants on the other side of the yard, but that side is hers and cannot be piled with stuff. I guess we will see...it does look good though. Dale and I love doing that kind of stuff, it is just hard now that Hayden wants to be in the middle of it and it makes me crazy for him to be that dirty. I know he is a boy, but I CANNOT stand dirt under fingernails it is so hard to get out. We did let him play in the dirt, but it was very hot outside and I was not sure how he would handle it, he is very fair complected. We kept putting sunscreen on him, but in the back of my mind I see Taylors sunburn. I finally just locked him up on the porch and he got so mad, but we were almost done. I plan on taking some garden pictures today and posting them tonight so you guys can see how good everything is growing. Are you guys still coming down?
Okay, I will post again tonight with some pics...

Our 50th Blog!!!

I wish I had something to celebrate for my 50th blog! Today was crazy...well, the morning was okay, but this afternoon was insane. I was wondering if we were being punked or something. It was like all of the most difficult things to treat came in this afternoon. We were running around like crazy women this afternoon. THEN, my dumb butt locked myself out of the clinic!!! I am so retarded!!! I went to put out the lab box out and the door wouldn't close because the box was messed up. So, I stood outside the door and pushed up on the box to make the door close. When it finally closed, I was like "Good job girl...you fixed it" then I looked at the door and laughed...."you dummy, you locked yourself out." I had to stand outside for about 15 minutes and wait for my last patient to leave the clinic and let me back in. They were laughing at me so hard! Dr.Stanford thought it was funny too...he thought that I had just decided to go home. Laura had to leave early so it was just the two of us and that last patient. It was so embarrassing!
Shannon was not at work today for obvious reasons, so I decided to eat lunch with Dale. He is wanting to try out a new diet. I guess we will have to start eating better now :(
This has been a weird week for me because I am usually the last one to try to comfort someone and I NEVER know what to say. I am never the first one in line to hug someone or cry on their shoulder, but Shannon is sad and I am her person, it is my "job" to help her through this and I will do my best...she will get through this and I pray that nothing like this happens again for a long long long time.
Dale did not get home until 9pm and 1/3 of the kids were sound asleep. The other 2/3 are laying in Caitlyn's bed watching some show on the disney channel. We ate Hamburger Helper (with Deer meat) for supper and Dale and I are getting ready to watch Deadliest Catch. I will post again tomorrow.

Sunday...

This morning, we went to the donut shop and ate breakfast with my mom and dad. Hayden fell AGAIN and hit his chin. His mouth was bleeding, but we couldn't tell where it was coming from. He is fine now, but I am so tired of that boy and trauma! He is a mess! We left there and went to Dale's mom's house to pick up our other two nuts! They dont want to stay home with us on the weekends apparently! When we got there, somehow, we decided to plant a big flower bed in her front yard. I am not sure who originally mentioned it, but when I find out, I might hit them!!! We worked our BUTTS off. We had to dig up the bed that was there because it was just a big ole ant pile. Then we had to put this barrier stuff down and put 80 bags of dirt (40lbs each) and about 10 bags of maneur down. Jack helped cut open the bags so we could dump them out easier, he wore himself plum out. He put down the scissors and went to maw maw's bed and fell asleep. He was so cute...worn completely out! We finally got done about 7:30pm and we all came home to take baths and get ready for tomorrow. I think Hayden has ANOTHER ear infection and he will probably be making a trip to see Nurse Nancy tomorrow. Anyways enjoy the pics...

Happy Birthday Jackson!

I will start my blog by saying that I am so sorry to hear that Shannon's Grandpa died last night. I only had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times, but Shannon was very close to him and I know that this is so hard for her. I love you and if you need anything, you let me know.

Well, today Jackson had his 5th birthday! It is hard to believe that he is actually 5 years old now! The years just seem to fly by anymore. He had a GREAT time, his preschool teacher Ms.Jessica showed up and that made his day! She is such a wonderful teacher. Jackson got a shark slip-n-slide, V-Tech Digital Camera, Napa 18-wheeler, 2 Zero Gravity Cars (they climb up the walls...yeah!!!), a train that holds his mini-cars (from the movie Car's), a baseball set, a basketball goal and a basketball, a bubble gun and a Shake-N-Go car that looks like the bat mobile. I think that is all...he had a blast opening his presents! It was hilarious because he would scream when he opened his gifts like he was getting something he had always wanted! He is such a nut!!! The kids and I played baseball out back while Dale, Jennifer and Ralph put the basketball goal together! Then I SMOKED Dale at basketball!!!!!!! We are so competitive around here! Caitlyn had her last two soccer games today. Dale said she played very good and actually took the ball down the field some! She is not going to be on this same team again though, next season, she will play on a team with boys and girls instead of being on an all girls team! She is excited, but still talks about playing baseball. I just dont think that we can commit to baseball right now especially since we have put so much into soccer. Okay, my baby is finally walking. Everyone said that one day he would just take off...I didn't believe them because he is sooooo stubborn. BUT, over the past two days, he just gave up crawling and started walking. I took some pics of him walking outside today. I love this stage, they look so cute learning to walk! Enjoy the pics...more later!

Panic Attack...

Apparently the letter "k" works now! Well, today was wonderful...until 7:30pm! Dale went to his dad's to work on his trailer and left me with the kids again. It was all good until Hayden tried to climb up my bed. Caitlyn was laying on my bed playing with Bella and Hayden wanted to climb up there. Evidently, he peeked his little head up over the top of the bed and Caitlyn said "boo" to him. He got so tickled that he fell back and hit his head on the bed rail. Caitlyn came running out of my room yelling that Hayden was bleeding. All I could think of was that she had put him on the bed and he fell off. I had just walked out of my room when it happened. I couldn't believe that my over-protective self was the one in charge when he got hurt. I immediately could tell that it was his head that was bleeding. I don't remember how I got the rag that I was washing him off with, but after I washed off the blood, I could tell he needed some glue put on it. My hands were shaking...I called Dr.Stanford and he was happy to meet me at the clinic to fix him. THANK GOD for that man! I called my mom and she immediately came over. We left the older 2 with Missy (Daniels Sister in Law). I drove as fast as I could to the clinic and was finally starting to lose the Adrenalin that was pumping through my veins and was feeling like I needed to vomit. Hayden was remarkably calm. He was just talking and laughing all the way to the clinic. He did fine, but he kept calling Dr.Stanford "Daddy". I thought it was hilarious, but I was glad that Dale didn't hear it, he would not have let me live that down. So my little prince is in bed asleep right now, but I will probably be up all night worrying about him. Caitlyn felt horrible when I got home, she thought it was her fault, poor thing. Probably my reaction to the whole event didn't help her much! This was the first time that any of my children was really hurt, it scared me to death! Well, I am going to go take a hot bath and get some of this dried blood off me! I will post some pics tomorrow...

Saturday

Today was busy, as usual for us. Caitlyn had a soccer game this morning and it was raining and cold outside. This afternoon David and Shannon came over to eat dinner and hang out. I am trying to download music on to an MP3 player, but apparently I am just not that smart! I bought one for Jac_s birthday, but cannot seem to be able to download music to it. I am giving myself a headache over it!! Today I learned that one of my friends house got robbed. In case you haven't noticed, the letter that comes after "J" in the alphabet is not working on my computer today, so I am having to thin_ of words that do not contain that letter, or using spell chec_ to fix it...not ma_ing my life any easier tonight. Anyways, I feel so bad for her because the low life stole all of her camera stuff. I cannot imagine not having my camera and not being able to record everything that my children do. She is a very good photographer and has even ta_en pics of my family before. I watched a thing on one of the morning shows several months ago about a lady who had her camera stolen out of her car at a Cracker Barrell. This camera had been passed down for several generations and was being used to document her family's last vacation before the lady died of cancer. She actually got on the news and explained how special that camera was to her and that it was a family heirloom, the thief actually called the news show (anonymously) and said that he had left the camera in the par_ing garage at the news station next to the anchor mans car. He actually returned the camera and wrote the lady a letter and apologized for what he did. I don't thin_ they ever caught the guy, but it was a nice story. Maybe that is something we could try. People are so heartless sometimes. Anyways, my doors will be loc_ed from now on, we are really bad about running off and leaving them unloc_ed. This is a good lesson for us. No plans for tomorrow, we will see what happens. Love you all...

Hump Day!

Easter went well, sorry for not blogging the pics! The kids had a blast hunting eggs at maw maw's on Sunday (inside the house). Hayden didn't really know what was going on, but he enjoyed playing with the plastic eggs and I am sure he is still passing that dang easter grass stuff in his stool!!!

Today, I had a nice day at work! We were busy as usual, but it was tolerable! Dale and the older kids are out getting a 4-wheeler (against my better judgement)! Caitlyn and Jack are excited about it, but after Dale and I bored them to death with the new rules, I am sure they will be scared to ride it!!! I have to go to the dentist tomorrow, unfortunately! I have 2 chipped teeth...I told Dale it was from carrying the three kids! It must have eaten away all my enamel! He says it is from brushing too much (I am sure that is not possible)! I am off all day tomorrow so I hope to get some bills paid and rest before getting the older two from school. The house is actually fairly clean tonight, so there won't be much for me to do tomorrow. Anyways, I will try to blog tomorrow night if I can...

Easter Egg Time!!!

We took the kids to MawMaw and PawPaw's house this afternoon so that they could dye easter eggs. It was a lot of fun to watch Hayden! He was more interested in eating the eggs and making the dye splash all over his highchair! Jackson actually wrote his name on one of his eggs, he is getting very good at it! Caitlyn is a pro now and is not really interested in just dropping them into the dye! She likes to do all the decorating now! Dale and Ralph mostly worked on small engines all day, but it helps pay the bills, so I guess I can't complain! We ate dinner over there and came home in time for bed! Here are some pics from today...

Good Friday!

Today was beautiful outside! I wish we could open our windows at the clinic and breathe in the fresh air! I have been thinking today about how really blessed I am. I have three beautiful, healthy and most of the time --happy children, a nice house, nice cars, wonderful family ...oh and a great husband! I am not really sure why God has favored me so much, but I am sure glad He did! Not that my life has been particularly easy, but I am a better person because of the hard times. If my whole life had been easy with no turmoil, what kind of person would I have been? Thank You God for my life. Happy Easter everyone, Hayden is cryin so I have to go...

Another Great Day!

We took the kids to The Old Mill in North Little Rock, today! It was BEAUTIFUL out there! The kids were actually pretty good even though the sun was shining right on top of us it seemed! There were a lot of people out there taking pictures for spring. I expected there to be a lot of people out there, but it was really not that crowded. The kids had a great time and are excited to go back soon! Enjoy the pics...
